What does it say about us? We humans are getting it wrong in so many ways, we are being self destructive and planet destructive. I suppose one could say, look at our history over many eons, but, we are supposed to be better educated, today, than ever before. I feel that we are more clever with technology, and we are very good at educating ourselves with being successful in business and exploiting our fellow humans, but, are we just becoming crill for the bigger fish?, i believe Yes.
The Corporates rule the world today, they form themselves, with the help of powerful and rich countries, to enhance their greedy pursuits by setting up G8, or G15, World Bank, WTO, and other organisations which rule as a Global Government. They make laws and rules to do with trade, money, and war. If you think that this is far fetched, think again. In countries occupied by foreign troops, such as, Aphganistan, Iraq, Solomon Islands, East Timor, the legitimite and ruling politicians are changed to suit the invader's interests, thus creating a regime change for the benefit of the Corporates to profit. Bodies such as US AID, AUS AID, dictate the terms and obligations to be agreed to by the country receiving their aid, and these directives and conditions, include how the country will be run politically to satisfy the provider's interests. The Prime Minister of East Timor, became a thorn in the side of Australia's Prime Minister, when he objected to Australia's claim for the greater share of the oil and gas resources, in the sea, adjacent to East Timor.
I think blogging is good for personal expression, you are only limited by what you know and what you don't know. I did not have a satisfactory education, as i was forced fed religion, from an early age. I have life experiences though as a result of how i was treated, i consider that i have attended the University of Life, without text books, only learned lessons, from coming to grips with the human condition.
I am very interested and curious about other cultures, their lifestyles and history, and what makes them tick. I wish i knew every language so i could relate with the people and know them. I feel that we are flawed as humans, because of the lack of communication and understanding of how other people think and express themselves. We become insular and selfish, and ignorant about the other.[tribe].
History has shown us, that we have intelligence, which maybe used for all the evils perpetrated by our ancestors and to the present day. We have intelligence for living peacefully, displaying kindness and goodwill. We have intelligence for trading with other people foriegn to us. We do NOT have intelligence for our own survival as a species.
We are part of nature whether we like it or not, and we have turned our back on it. We need nature more than we think for our survival. All non human species of nature have the intelligence for survival, even when we eadicate them, wilfully or through ignorance. I feel that we humans are destructive hybrids of nature, resultant from a very serious mistake that happened in the primal pool of biological division of organisms. Humans have the intelligenc for learning, and we need to be re educated, and i believe that nature needs to be our educator, the lessons are illustrated for us if we want to see them, just step outside and begin the lessons, you do need to look and listen though.
Up early and writing. To be starving must be one of the most devastating things that a human or animal has to endure. Endure because nobody cares enough to give you a bite to eat, even in the richest countries there are too many not getting a bite to eat.
Apathy, complacency, ignorance, greed, praying to a god for our daily bread, waste, dumping, ideology, shares, gadgets, all contribute to an innocent child not getting a bite to eat, in a far off land. Out of sight, out of mind, especially out of the minds of the corporate media who feed off their obese and unhealthy consumers, who eat fast, and live fast, but do not die fast, due to fat health systems, if you have the dues to pay. The poor get poorer and the rich get richer. The greedy get greedier, the hungry get hungrier.
